An afternoon borrowed from another century; the kind of light and dress I've always loved in old paintings.

Two figures on the water, with a flowering garden behind them, each lost in her own thought. One remembers, one dreams. I'm not always sure which one is me. They emerged the way they wanted to. I only followed the colour, the way I follow her.
