I'm open to commissioned work — paintings created specifically for you or someone you love.
How it starts
Before I begin, I like to get to know you — your story, your interests, what moves you. I'll also ask about colour: do you lean toward warm hues or cool ones. It's less a brief and more a way of understanding your world, so I can bring something that genuinely reaches you.
How I paint it
Every commission follows the same process I use for all my work — no two paintings take the same amount of time, because it's never really about size, it's about finding the image. I often work on a few pieces at once, in layers: I paint, let it sit, distance myself so I can properly see it again, then come back. That distance is part of the process — it helps me digest what's there.
Timelines
Most commissions take between one and two months, depending on the piece. If you have a deadline, let me know — I'll simply come back to your piece more often, working with a shorter distance between layers, rather than rushing the process itself.
